Job summary

OCS Philippines is seeking a Facilities Engineer to oversee the operation, maintenance, and reliability of building systems in Laguna. You will coordinate with contractors, manage preventive maintenance, and ensure safety and regulatory compliance across all facility activities.

The role requires 2–5 years in facilities management, strong analytical and coordination skills, and the ability to respond to emergencies on-site. Proficiency with maintenance systems and MS Office is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical or electrical engineering is required.
• Licensed Engineer (PE) is preferred.
• 2–5 years of facilities management, building maintenance, or engineering operations experience.
• Knowledge of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, fire protection, and building management systems.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and project coordination skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and maintenance management systems.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Willing to work on-site and respond to emergencies as needed.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operation and maintenance of facility systems (HVAC, electrical, plumbing, fire protection, mechanical equipment).
• Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs to ensure reliability and minimize downtime.
• Monitor facility performance and recommend efficiency improvements to reduce costs.
• Coordinate and supervise contractors, vendors, and service providers for facility projects and maintenance.
• Conduct regular inspections to ensure safety, environmental, and building compliance.
• Investigate equipment failures and recommend corrective actions.
• Prepare maintenance reports, technical documentation, and budget forecasts.
• Support project planning, renovation, and capital improvement initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and health and safety standards.
• Respond to facility emergencies and coordinate corrective measures.
