Qualifications

• Willing to do fieldwork if needed.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support to all production facilities.

• Ensure spare parts and consumables meet plant needs.
• Maintain safety in accordance with Safety policy and conduct departmental safety meetings and audits.

Job description

Main Duties, Responsibilities and Performance Indicators

Provide technical support to all production facilities.

• Plans and implement the design of plants, offices and production lines in order to maximize the use of available space and improve production efficiency.

• Monitor and Estimates cost related to layout design including materials and labor in a construction process.

• Presents to department heads and management, the work order status reports, and updates on the said project or repair to identify opportunities for improvement

Conduct Monitoring of Waste Water, Generator Set and other related equipment facilities.

• Data gatherings of Generator set and other related facilities equipment as part of equipment history.

• Test and check equipment before and after preventive maintenance.

• Monitor and analyze results of Waste Water Treatment Plant

• Makes sound recommendations on how to improve equipment efficiency.

• Plan schedules and implementation procedures for the conduct of Preventive Maintenance equipment monitoring.

Performs other related functions that may be assigned from time to time.

• Provides assistance for project calculation and preparation, project supervision, installation and technical support, research and development for system improvement.

• Analyze and review job reports and make necessary recommendations or improvements.

• Ensure that spare parts and consumables level are sufficient to meet the plant needs.

• Responsible for establishing, implementing and maintaining the safety in accordance with Safety policy and manual.

• Attend Departmental Safety Meeting within the area of responsibility and discuss corrective or remedial measures to prevent future incidents.

• Conducts quarterly safety audits of departments outside his area of responsibility as a member of a regular audit team.

• Conduct routine inspection in identifying unsafe conditions/practices to the area of responsibility.

• Conduct inspections to all Firefighting equipment assigned to different installations and locations and due replacements with good one if the need arises.

• Reporting on safety statistics and ensuring the site compliance to legislative requirements particular to the process manufacturing environment within the area of responsibility.
  

Job Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering

• At least 1-3 years of experience in a Food Manufacturing Plant.

• Strong Analytical and diagnostic skills.

• Must be able to exhibit a high level knowledge on engineering material and equipment.

• Must be proficient in Basic Computer applications and have leadership skills.

• Willing to do fieldwork if needed.
