Job summary

Hammerjack Pty Ltd. is seeking a Facilities Engineer responsible for the upkeep of company facilities and equipment, leading preventive maintenance and supporting the Facilities Group with technical repairs and supervision of in-house and contractor works.

The role also supports the Facilities Manager by delivering reports and representing the company in meetings when technical expertise is required, ensuring reliability and efficiency of store facilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's/College degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Civil)
• Licensed Engineer preferred
• At least 2 years in facilities maintenance and coordination
• Proficient in Google apps and MS Office

Responsibilities

• Plan Preventive Maintenance procedures and schedule.
• Coordinate in-house technicians and service providers.
• Manage FMR database and respond to requests.
• Prepare weekly and monthly facilities maintenance reports.
• Liaise with Operations Leaders and participate in alignment meetings.
• Inspect facilities and coordinate repairs with contractors.
• Monitor budgets, materials, and manpower for civil works.
• Ensure timely quotations and service delivery.

JOB SUMMARY

The Facilities Engineer is in charge of the general upkeep of the company's facilities and equipment by taking charge of the Preventive Maintenance of each. He also supports the Facilities Group by providing technical knowledge in various aspects of repairs and maintenance and supervision of in-house and contractor works. He assists the Facilities Manager by providing report data and representing the company in meetings when technical expertise is required.

KEY RESULT AREAS

Operational Excellence

• Ensures proper maintenance of company facilities equipment to prevent business loss and disruptions:
• Plans Preventive Maintenance procedures and schedule
• Initiates predictive maintenance in terms of proactive replacement or rehabilitation of equipment to help ensure equipment reliability and efficiency
• Responsible for receiving and providing timely response to store facilities maintenance requests, FMRs, by utilizing established Facilities Management Tools:
• Responds through email and mobile phone FMRs: Approval of Jotform/Upkeep Requests
• Schedules Technician/Service Provider survey of store concerns and provide clear scope of works of each
• Keeps track of FMR database ensuring pending and backlog items are dealt with accordingly
• When needed, meets with parties involved to needed to resolve FMRs
• Management and supervision of in-house technician schedule and deployment:
• Reviews and generates documentations concerning: Service Reports, Transportation Expenses, Petty Cash Funds, Trip Tickets, Repair Supplies Stocks Allocation, Allocation of supplies purchased through credit card and Liquidations
• Lays out action plans concerning In-house Technicians Civil Works including budget, materials and manpower requirements
• Provides Facilities Maintenance Reports (Weekly, Monthly) and Updates:
• Prepares necessary updates for Weekly Alignment Meeting with Operations Leaders
• Prepares Weekly and Monthly Facilities Maintenance Report
• Updates Expense Monitoring on an ongoing basis
• Reviews and Generates Monthly R&M Expense Report
• Service Provider Coordination:
• Coordinates schedules of site inspection/survey and repair
• Ensure quotations are received on time
• Ensures Preventive Maintenance assigned to particular service providers are done as scheduled and as specified details of the works
• Reviews Sales Invoice and validates Service Reports

EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor's/College Degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Civil)
• Preferably Licensed Engineer

WORK EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS

• At least 2 years working experience in Facilities Maintenance and Coordination
• Experience in actual repairs and maintenance an advantage
• Proficient in Google applications
• Proficient in MS Office Suite (Excel, Word and PowerPoint)
