Job summary

Jones Lang LaSalle Property Consultants Pte Ltd is seeking a facilities professional to be the trusted right hand of upper facilities management. You will conduct routine site inspections, supervise maintenance works, and serve as the primary contact for technical contractors.

Collaboration with multiple departments will help ensure cost savings and compliance with procurement and statutory requirements. You will support risk management and business continuity while delivering KPI-driven service

Qualifications

• Experience in Facilities Hard Services, Operations and Maintenance of critical facilities equipment (HVAC, mechanical, electrical).
• Knowledge of local health and safety protocols and their implementation.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine site inspections to ensure building processes and best practices are followed.
• Assist facilities manager in overseeing technical operations and maintenance schedules.
• Act as main contact for all technical service contractors and supervise repairs.
• Oversee in-house teams and contractors for maintenance works.
• Coordinate procurement of vendors and services; ensure compliance with regulations.
• Identify client and supplier facility-related needs on site and address them.
• Support risk management, disaster recovery, and business continuity planning.

Job description

You will be the upper facilities management's trusted right hand on all facilities-related activities. You'll perform routine site inspections to ensure all building processes and best practices are implemented and maintained. You'll be the main contact person for all technical service contractors and supervise repair and maintenance works of in-house technical teams and contractors. You'll work with different departments to fulfill customer procurement and statutory requirements, always looking for process improvements and cost savings. You'll also provide technical support including vendor management, basic housekeeping and appointment coordination, while hitting key performance indicators and meeting service level agreements.

Key responsibilities

• Perform routine site inspections to ensure all building processes and best practices are implemented and maintained
• Support the facilities manager to oversee technical operation and plan and implement maintenance work schedules to minimize breakdown or failure
• Serve as the main contact person for all technical service contractors
• Supervise repair and maintenance works of in-house technical teams and contractors
• Include the MSTs skill enhancement plan for the repair and maintenance of all critical equipment
• Work with different departments to fulfill customer procurement and statutory requirements
• Identify facility-related enquiries and requirements from clients and suppliers onsite
• Participate in the procurement of vendors and services
• Ensure everyone's health and safety by keeping safe workplace procedures in place and order
• Help implement and manage risk management programs, disaster recovery and business continuity plans

About you

• Prior work or internship experience in Facilities Hard Services, Operations and Maintenance of Critical Facilities Equipment (HVAC, Mechanical and Electrical equipment), People and Vendor Management, and Facilities Project Management or other related fields
• Knowledgeable in local health and safety protocols and how they are enacted within the workplace environment
