Job summary

CIIT College of Arts & Technology in the Philippines seeks a seasoned Facilities Engineer to ensure reliable operation of electrical, MEPFS, STP, and building systems. The role covers preventive maintenance, system inspections, and coordinating with contractors.

You will drive energy management, regulatory compliance, safety practices, and continuous improvement initiatives, report on performance, and support emergency preparedness and upgrades.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering.
• 3+ years in facilities, building operations, or maintenance engineering.
• Knowledge of STP operations, ATS/LVSG, generator systems.
• Familiar with power shutdown processes and energy efficiency practices.
• Awareness of regulatory requirements (DOE, LLDA, DENR, LGU) and permits processing.
• Background in workplace safety and Safety Officer functions.
• Experience in facilities operations and project management.
• Multi-skilled with strong communication and coordination abilities.

Responsibilities

• Oversee reliable operation of electrical, MEPFS, STP, and building systems.
• Monitor and resolve technical issues and FMS tickets timely.
• Conduct regular system inspections, preventive maintenance, and performance validation.
• Coordinate with contractors and maintenance teams for ongoing works.
• Ensure regulatory compliance and safety standards are met.
• Monitor energy consumption and propose efficiency initiatives.
• Prepare technical reports, audits, and compliance documentation.
• Handle incident management, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis.
• Support facility upgrades, maintenance planning, and emergency preparedness.
