Job summary

Sutherland Philippines is seeking a Facilities Manager to oversee daily operations at its Pili CamSur IT Park site. You will manage maintenance, coordinate contractors, and ensure equipment and workspace readiness.

The role requires a Mechanical or Electrical Engineering degree, flexibility for extended hours, and strong vendor and health & safety focus. You will report on-site and collaborate with Capacity Planning to keep facilities efficient and compliant.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily facilities operations including leasehold improvements and equipment upkeep.
• Oversee site maintenance, inspections, and preventive/corrective maintenance programs.
• Supervise contractors for repairs, pest control, and scheduled maintenance.
• Coordinate workspace readiness, seating, relocations, and partitions with Capacity Planning.
• Monitor utility consumption and maintain accurate reporting on electricity and water.
• Maintain Asset Maintenance Contracts and service records for UPS, ACs, generators.
• Handle facility-related requests via ticketing systems within SLAs and approvals.
• Support site build-outs, renovations, and rehab activities with minimal disruption.
• Ensure health and safety standards are implemented across the site.

Your Role

Key responsibilities include:

• Manage daily facilities operations such as leasehold improvements, equipment upkeep, and site maintenance.
• Ensure all office equipment and physical workspace are functional and ready for use.
• Conduct regular facility inspections and implement preventive and corrective maintenance programs.
• Supervise contractors handling general repairs, pest control, and scheduled maintenance.
• Oversee workspace readiness including seat assignments, relocations, and partition installations in coordination with Capacity Planning.
• Monitor electricity and water consumption and maintain accurate tracking reports.
• Maintain updated Asset Maintenance Contracts and ensure regular servicing of equipment like UPS, AC units, and generators.
• Keep organized documentation of service reports, contracts, and compliance records.
• Support health and safety standards implementation across the site.
• Manage and resolve facility-related requests via ticketing systems within agreed SLAs, monitor ticket queues, and coordinate approvals with stakeholders.
• Support project teams in site build-outs, renovations, and rehabilitation activities, coordinating schedules to minimize disruption.
• Participate in weekly seat planning and operational meetings.
• Respond to internal requests for office setup including meetings, training, and onboarding sessions.
• Collaborate with Capacity Planning for workspace and equipment requirements.
• Coordinate with building administration on facility concerns and maintenance issues.
• Liaise with vendors, lessors, and government agencies to ensure compliance.

About You

The company is looking for:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering with a valid license.
• Willingness to work extended hours or flexible schedules as needed.
• Ability to report on-site at Sutherland Pili CamSur, IT Park, Provincial Capitol Complex, Cadlan, Pili, Camarines Sur.
• Knowledge of civil and structural building construction including interior and exterior works.
• Proficiency in designing and computing Electrical and Mechanical plans.
• Hands-on experience in operation and maintenance of generator sets, UPS systems, and other critical facility equipment.
• Capability to evaluate vendor preventive maintenance reports and recommend action plans.
• Basic project management skills supporting site build-outs, renovations, and maintenance projects.
• Familiarity with facilities operations including utilities monitoring, equipment maintenance, and workplace management.
• Strong analytical skills to interpret data, identify trends, and recommend improvements.
• Excellent attention to detail with strong organizational and documentation skills.
