Job summary

You will conduct inspections, coordinate with contractors, monitor energy use, ensure health and safety compliance, and maintain records.

Qualifications

We are seeking a dedicated Facilities Engineer with expertise as a Licensed Electrical/Mechanical Engineer to oversee the operation and maintenance of all building systems, facilities, and equipment in our retail environment. The ideal candidate will ensure that all facilities are operating efficiently, safely, and in compliance with regulatory standards. This role requires strong technical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage projects effectively

Responsibilities

• Oversee the operation and maintenance of all building systems, including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and fire protection system
• Conduct regular inspections to identify and resolve issues related to building systems and equipment
• Develop and implement maintenance procedures to ensure optimal functioning of facilities
• Coordinate with external contractors and vendors for repair and maintenance service
• Monitor energy usage and implement strategies to improve energy efficiency
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and environmental policies
• Prepare and manage the facilities budget, tracking expenses and identifying cost-saving opportunities
• Respond promptly to emergency situations and resolve them efficiently
• Collaborate with other departments to support retail operations and address facility-related issues
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance and repair activities

Requirements

• Licensed Electrical/Mechanical Engineer certification required.
• Proven experience in facilities management, preferably in a retail or commercial environment.
• Strong knowledge of building systems, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and fire protection systems.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex issues.
• Strong project management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Must be available to work in a rotating schedule.
• Must be willing to be assigned in projects within Metro Manila.
