Job summary

Private Advertiser in Metro Manila seeks a Facilities Manager responsible for the overall operation, maintenance, safety, and efficient performance of building facilities, equipment, and engineering systems including electrical, mechanical, plumbing, HVAC, and safety systems.

You will supervise contractors, maintain records, ensure compliance with safety standards, monitor utility consumption, and coordinate with building administration and management to support tenants and staff.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Electrical/Mechanical/Civil Engineering or related field.
• Preferably licensed engineer depending on regulatory requirements.
• 2-3 years of relevant experience in building operations, facilities management, or engineering maintenance.
• Knowledge of electrical systems, plumbing, generators, pumps, fire detection and alarm, fire suppression, elevators, preventive and corrective maintenance, and calendar scheduling.
• Contractor and maintenance supervision experience.
• Ability to prepare maintenance reports, equipment records, budgets, inventories and utility consumption reports.
• Knowledge of preventive maintenance practices and basic building safety requirements.
• Good troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Familiar with building safety and government compliance.
• Good communication and troubleshooting skills coordinating with unit owners, contractors and management.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and maintenance documentation.
• Willing to work shifting schedules, weekends or emergencies when required.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and maintain building facilities, equipment, and engineering systems.
• Conduct regular inspections to identify defects, hazards, and maintenance needs.
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance and resolve equipment concerns.
• Respond to breakdowns and emergencies and coordinate corrective actions.
• Supervise and coordinate contractors, service providers, and maintenance staff.
• Monitor preventive maintenance schedules and document activities.
• Maintain records of equipment, maintenance, inspections, repairs, and service reports.
• Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and engineering standards.
• Assist in monitoring utility consumption and suggest efficiency measures.
• Coordinate with building administration, security, housekeeping, tenants, and management on facility concerns.
