COFICAB Philippines Inc. is a leading cable manufacturer in Batangas and is hiring a Maintenance Technician. The role involves preventive and corrective maintenance on production machines, utilities, and facilities, diagnosing issues, and coordinating with suppliers to keep equipment reliable and within safety standards.

The ideal candidate has 1–3 years in industrial maintenance and can read technical drawings, use CMMS/ERP/MES, and operate with accuracy and teamwork in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a Technical/Vocational Course or higher in Electrical/Mechatronics/Industrial Maintenance.
• At least 1–3 years in industrial maintenance or facilities maintenance.

Responsabilités

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on production machines, equipment and facilities.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, pneumatic and hydraulic issues affecting equipment performance.
• Repair or replace defective parts, motors, wiring, controls and sensors.
• Maintain maintenance records and work orders using CMMS/ERP/MES systems.
• Coordinate with suppliers/contractors for maintenance and projects.
• Ensure compliance with EHS requirements and company standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on production machines, equipment, utilities, and building facilities.

• Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and electromechanical issues affecting equipment performance.

• Repair or replace defective machine parts, motors, wiring, controls, sensors, and other equipment components.

• Conduct routine inspections of facility systems, including electrical, plumbing, ventilation, and infrastructure assets.

• Assist in the installation, setup, testing, and commissioning of new machines and equipment.

• Maintain accurate and timely maintenance records, work orders, and intervention reports using maintenance management systems (CMMS).

• Monitor implementation of maintenance plans and report equipment failures, anomalies, and breakdowns.

• Provide technical support to electrical and mechanical teams during major equipment incidents and repairs.

• Monitor spare parts consumption and coordinate replenishment activities to ensure adequate inventory levels.

• Coordinate with suppliers, contractors, and service providers as needed for maintenance and facility-related projects.

• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance equipment reliability, maintenance efficiency, and facility performance.

• Ensure compliance with Quality, Safety, Health, and Environmental (EHS) requirements, company policies, and operational standards.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a Technical/Vocational Course, Associate Degree, or Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Technology, Mechanical Technology, Electromechanics, Mechatronics, Industrial Maintenance, or a related field.

• At least 1-3 years of relevant experience in industrial maintenance, facilities maintenance, manufacturing, or a related field.

• Knowledge of electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.

• Familiarity with preventive maintenance programs, fault diagnosis, and troubleshooting techniques.

• Experience using CMMS, ERP, MES, or other maintenance and inventory management systems is an advantage.

• Knowledge of spare parts management and inventory control processes is preferred.

• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, equipment manuals, and maintenance procedures.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel.

• Strong problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills.

• Willing to work on shifting schedules and render overtime when required.
