Job summary

Qualifications

Job description

The Facilities Technician is responsible for the operation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of facility equipment and building systems to ensure safe, efficient, and uninterrupted plant operations. This includes utilities, HVAC systems, electrical systems, plumbing, compressed air systems, and other facility-related equipment while complying with safety, GMP, and company standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct preventive and corrective maintenance of facility equipment and utility systems.
• Monitor and maintain HVAC, electrical, plumbing, compressed air, water, and wastewater systems.
• Troubleshoot and repair facility-related equipment breakdowns and abnormalities.
• Perform inspections of buildings, utilities, and infrastructure to ensure operational reliability.
• Support facility improvement projects, renovations, and equipment installations.
• Respond promptly to facility emergencies and minimize operational downtime.
• Maintain maintenance records, work orders, and equipment history.
• Ensure compliance with GMP, food safety, environmental, and machine safety requirements.

Qualifications

Education

• Vocational Diploma, Technical Course, or Bachelor's Degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Industrial Technology, or related field.

Experience

• At least 2 years of experience in facilities maintenance, utilities, or industrial plant operations.
• Experience in manufacturing or food processing environment is preferred.
