Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a relevant field.
• Minimum 5 years in shipbuilding construction management.
• Strong analytical, planning, and scheduling capabilities.
• Experience with cost control and waste reduction.
• Proven leadership and project management skills.
• Knowledge of Austal construction methods and ISO standards.
• Relevant licenses or certifications.

Responsibilities

• Develop and communicate detailed production plans.
• Ensure timely availability of information, materials, equipment, and workforce.
• Monitor production KPIs and implement corrective actions.
• Coordinate across departments to support schedule and deliverables.
• Ensure compliance with HSE requirements including JSEA, incident reporting, and hazard control.
• Support cost control by monitoring labor, material usage, and scrap rates.
• Promote high housekeeping, safety, and environmental standards.
• Track quality metrics and audits per Austal standards.
• Assess and develop Supervisor and team performance and training.
• Foster a culture of accountability, leadership, and collaboration.
