Job Summary
The F&B Service Manager is responsible for overseeing the overall operations of all Food & Beverage outlets, ensuring excellent guest service, operational efficiency, and compliance with hotel standards. The role leads the F&B service team, drives guest satisfaction, manages costs, and ensures smooth operations in an island resort environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee daily operations of restaurants, bars, banquet, and other F&B service outlets.
- Ensure consistent delivery of excellent guest service and dining experience.
- Lead, train, coach, and develop F&B service team members.
- Monitor service standards, outlet cleanliness, and overall presentation.
- Develop work schedules, manpower planning, and operational assignments.
- Monitor F&B costs, inventory, supplies, and operational expenses.
- Coordinate with Kitchen, Stewarding, and other departments to ensure smooth operations.
- Handle guest feedback and resolve service concerns professionally.
- Implement company policies, SOPs, and food safety standards.
- Assist in planning promotions, special events, and F&B initiatives.
- Prepare operational reports and recommend improvements to enhance efficiency.
- Support resort activities, banquets, and special functions.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Hospitality Management, Hotel & Restaurant Management, or related field.
- Minimum 5 years of F&B experience, with at least 2 years in a managerial/supervisory role in a hotel, resort, or fine dining environment.
- Strong knowledge of restaurant operations, beverage service, cost control, and guest relations.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Experience handling large teams and multiple F&B outlets is an advantage.
- Knowledge of food safety standards and hotel service standards.
Island Resort Requirements
- Willing to relocate and stay in an island resort location.
- Comfortable working in a remote island environment with limited access to city resources.
- Willing to work on shifting schedules, weekends, holidays, and operational requirements.
- Adaptable, resourceful, and able to manage challenges in an island setup.
