Job summary

Shangri-La Boracay seeks an Executive Sous Chef to lead kitchen operations, uphold top standards of food quality, and maintain hygiene and service across the resort's kitchens. You will work to ensure consistency in taste and presentation while supporting the Executive Chef in their absence.

The ideal candidate has experience in an International Class Hotel, fluent English, and strong leadership with a team-building mindset.

Qualifications

• Experience in an International Class Hotel in a similar capacity.
• College Level or Apprenticeship; improvement programs in Food & Beverage is a plus.
• Oral and written fluency in English.
• Outgoing and people-oriented, a motivator and self-starter, a team builder with initiative.
• Willing to work longer hours and flexible to different working locations.
• Computer literate and knowledgeable in Finance.

Responsibilities

• Maintain high standards of all food preparation, service and hygiene in his kitchens.
• Executive Sous Chef may lead kitchen operations in the absence of the Executive Chef and ensure consistency in quality and presentation.
