Job summary

UNITED MEDICARE PTE LTD is seeking an Executive/Senior Executive (Human Capital Management) based in Toa Payoh Central Region. The role focuses on managing various human capital initiatives to support strategic objectives, including recruitment, onboarding, policy updates, and employee relations.

The ideal candidate will have 2+ years in HCM, knowledge of employment laws, strong communication, and experience with HRIS and AI tools.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in human capital management or operations, healthcare/servicios sector preferred.
• Knowledge of employment laws and talent management principles.
• Strong communication, interpersonal and problem-solving skills.
• Experience with HR information systems and AI is a plus.
• Ability to work with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Manage recruitment and onboarding processes, including ads, shortlisting, interviews, and documentation.
• Coordinate accommodation/dormitory arrangements and related verifications for staff.
• Provide admin support for HCM activities such as performance appraisals and annual increments.
• Administer employee benefits and claims in line with company policies.
• Handle Work Pass applications, renewals, and government-related matters.
• Support policy reviews and updates, exit interviews, and repatriation processes.
• Coordinate employee relations and development activities and conduct orientation for new hires.

About the role

This is an exciting opportunity to join UNITED MEDICARE PTE LTD as an Executive / Senior Executive (Human Capital Management). Based in Toa Payoh Central Region, this full-time role will be responsible for managing various human capital initiatives (as assigned based on role requirement & experience) to support the company's strategic objectives.

What you'll be doing

Recruitment & Onboarding

• Put up and review job advertisements, shortlist applicants, arrange applicants for interview by respective Department Managers


• Support in local and overseas recruitment exercises such as recruitment in Polytechnics, ITEs, job fairs, overseas trips, when required


• Maintain and update job descriptions for the whole Company


• Prepare employment contracts, letters and other relevant documentation


• Keep track and follow‑up on recruitment progress for open positions


• Co‑ordinate employees’ accommodation/ dormitory arrangement and conduct checks accordingly

Corporate Services

• Provide administrative support in HCM activities such as performance appraisals, annual increment, performance bonus payment


• Administer employee benefits and claims in accordance with Company policies such as medical, insurance, leave, Workman Injury Compensation Claims


• HR Systems configuration and alignment to other aspects of HCM


• Assist in the review and update of Company’s policies and procedures as required


• Conduct exit interviews and clearance for employees leaving the Company including repatriation


• Handle Work Pass Applications, Renewals and Contract renewals and matters relating to the Government institutions


• Handle Uniform and attire issuance and related matters

Employee Relations & Engagement

• Support in employee relations/ disciplinary matters to ensure challenges are resolved and relationships are strengthened with closure on the cases


• Arrange orientation & development for new employees ensuring proper induction and briefing


• Co‑ordinate social and recreational activities to promote staff interaction and well‑being of the employees

*For applicants with substantial and relevant experience, may be considered for the Senior Executive Role.

What we're looking for

• At least 2 years of relevant experience in human capital management and operations and applicants in the healthcare or services industry will have an advantage


• Knowledge of employment laws, and talent management principles


• Good communication, interpersonal, and problem‑solving skills


• Experience in using HR information systems and AI


• Ability to work collaboratively with cross‑functional teams and stakeholders

• Degree/ Diploma/ Certificate in Human Resource Management or Business Administration
