The Senior Executive / Assistant Manager supports the Clinical Services department in the planning and implementation of clinical programmes for older adults across NHG Polyclinics. The role includes programme management, stakeholder coordination and administrative support to drive service improvement, programme expansion and strategic initiatives in eldercare and population health in the Central Health region.
Principal responsibilities
Provide programme management and administrative support to the Clinical Services Department in the following capacities:
Programme Management
Coordinate the planning and implementation of clinical programmes, with respect to those pertaining to older adults, such as eldercare in NHGP, which include linking up with partnering institutions
Engage and collaborate with relevant stakeholders (e.g. clinic teams - doctors, nurses, operations) in managing the roll‑out and scaling up of clinical programmes across all polyclinics
Coordinate the development and review of management papers, reports and funding proposals
Monitor, analyse and evaluate data of key performance indicators (e.g. recruitment number, patient outcomes) for the programmes
Present programme and evaluation updates to Clinical Services Department, Senior Management and any other relevant stakeholders
Administrative Duties
Policy Development and Governance
Draft, review and revise documents for cross‑functional policies in Clinical Services Department
Coordinate stakeholder consultation, approval processes and implementation of policies and procedures.
Workplan and Budget Preparation
Monitor programme budgets and expenditure.
Support annual work planning, departmental initiatives and strategic planning exercises.
Cross‑functional Administrative Duties
Provide secretariat support for departmental and programme meetings, including the tracking and follow‑up of action items.
Support departmental initiatives, projects and administrative functions as assigned by the Reporting Officer.
Secondary responsibilities
Perform any other project duties and responsibilities assigned by the Director, Deputy Directors/Assistant Director/FP‑Senior Consultant/Consultant and Managers of Clinical Services, where appropriate.
Qualifications :
Bachelor's degree in any discipline, preferably Life or Biological Science.
Experience :
Preferably with about 1‑2 years of work experience in project management, operations and administrative work
Special Attributes and Knowledge :
Possess report writing and project organisation skills, with the ability to think analytically and solve problems effectively
IT savvy, with competency in using Microsoft Office applications
Good interpersonal and communication skills
Flexible, adaptable, self‑starter/self‑motivator, pro‑active and a passionate team player who is able to work independently under pressure
