Job summary

Shangri-La Makati invites a seasoned Executive Housekeeper to lead our Housekeeping and Laundry teams within a luxury hotel environment. You will oversee daily operations, coach staff, ensure brand standards, and manage schedules to match occupancy and events.

Fluent English, strong leadership, and a sharp eye for cleanliness are essential as you partner with other departments to deliver exceptional guest experiences in Manila's financial district.

Qualifications

• Strong understanding of hotel housekeeping and laundry operations.
• Previous experience in a similar Housekeeping leadership role, ideally within a luxury hotel environment.
• Detail-oriented with a strong focus on guest satisfaction, cleanliness, and service excellence.
• Knowledge of laundry operations, linen management, garment care, and quality control is an advantage.
• Fluent in spoken and written English.
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, and team leadership skills.
• Committed to continuous learning and staff development.
• Able to build and maintain positive working relationships with colleagues.
• Capable of working independently and performing effectively in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
• Confident, professional, tactful, and a strong team player.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the day-to-day Housekeeping and Laundry Operations to ensure smooth and efficient service delivery.
• Lead, coach, and support the Housekeeping and Laundry teams while maintaining the highest service standards.
• Ensure compliance with hotel housekeeping and laundry policies, procedures, quality standards, and brand guidelines.
• Prepare and manage staff schedules based on occupancy levels, events, and operational requirements.
• Monitor guest feedback across various platforms and implement improvements to enhance guest satisfaction.
• Maintain housekeeping and laundry standards, continuously improving operational processes, productivity, and quality.
• Oversee linen and uniform inventory, laundry quality, chemical usage, and equipment maintenance to ensure operational efficiency and cost control.
• Collaborate closely with other departments to ensure seamless guest service and timely delivery of linen and laundry requirements.
