Job summary

Macquarie Bank Limited in the Philippines is seeking an experienced Finance professional to join the Financial Management, People and Engagement function. You will help maintain a strong financial control environment across our global organisation and lead an inclusive, high‑performing team, delivering key processes and ensuring effective process ownership.

The role emphasizes IFRS know-how, month-end close, payroll accounting, and proactive improvements to internal controls, with opportunities

Qualifications

• CA with 2-4 years of experience in technical accounting with deep IFRS understanding and ability to apply appropriate accounting treatments to complex transactions.
• Advanced financial reporting and analysis capabilities, including month-end close, balance sheet management, and statutory, regulatory, and tax reporting.
• Sound payroll and benefits accounting knowledge, supported by strong reconciliation and financial control skills.
• Proven ability to drive process improvement, lead projects, and enhance operational efficiency and internal controls.
• Demonstrated ownership, accountability, and problem-solving skills, with strong planning and prioritisation abilities to deliver high-quality outcomes in a dynamic environment.
