Ren Ci Hospital is seeking an Executive to oversee patient admissions, ensuring efficient intake and optimal bed occupancy across Ren Ci Hospital facilities.
Responsibilities include processing referrals, liaising with departments and referring institutions, coordinating admissions, bed assignment, data collection, and leading quality improvement initiatives.
The Executive is responsible for processing and facilitating efficient patient admissions to ensure optimal bed occupancy at all Ren Ci Hospital (RCH) facilities.
Retrieve and process referrals to assess for eligibility by reviewing medical and nursing needs.
Solicit advice and recommendations from other departments (eg. medical, nursing) for complex cases.
Liaise with internal colleagues and referring institutions when processing referrals.
Facilitate efficient admissions process with minimal waiting time.
Assign beds, communicate admission information (ward, bed and time of transfer) to the referring institution.
Liaise with Nursing Home administrative teams, Business Office and Nursing team to facilitate the admission process.
Ensure that all necessary clinical information is available upon admission.
Closely monitor impending discharges to ensure efficient forward planning of admissions.
Ensure relevant data is collected accurately daily to support the regular evaluation of performance indicators.
Generate reports and update presentation slides on a regular basis.
Ensure timely preparation and submission of reports to authority.
Actively lead/ participate in quality improvement projects at the Department/ Hospital-wide level.
Provide recommendations for improvement to efficiency of processes.
Participate in any other responsibilities and duties as assigned by Supervisors.
Degree or Diploma in Healthcare or Social Service courses preferred.
At least 3 years of working experience within the healthcare or social care sectors.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Able to work effectively as an individual, and as part of a team.
Excellent time management skills, highly organised and meticulous.
