Job summary

Green Sun Hotel Management Inc. is seeking a proactive Sales/Event Coordinator to drive business and flawless event execution in the Philippines. You will generate proposals, convert leads into bookings, and manage logistics from inquiry to post-event report.

As the primary liaison between clients and hotel teams, you will coordinate site visits, AV readiness, menu details, and interdepartmental communications to deliver high-quality experiences.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Tourism Management, Marketing, Business Administration, or related field.
• Willing to be employed under agency.
• At least one year of experience in hotel sales, events coordination, banquet operations, or related hospitality work is an advantage.
• Fresh graduates with strong communication and organizational skills are welcome to apply.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple events and tasks under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook).

Responsibilities

• Sales & Revenue Generation: drive business and secure bookings.
• Proposal Development: draft and present event proposals and quotations.
• Active Selling: promote event spaces, catering packages, and room blocks.
• Contracting: negotiate terms and finalize contracts.
• Lead Conversion: follow up inquiries to maximize occupancy.
• Event Planning & Logistics: oversee venue tours, layout, and logistics.
• Site Inspections: lead tours and provide layout recommendations.
• Technical Readiness: ensure AV equipment is tested and functional.
• Collateral Management: prepare signage, kits, and agendas.
• Interdepartmental Coordination: align with departments on client vision.
• F&B & Kitchen Liaison: coordinate meal timings and dietary needs.
• Facility Management: work with Housekeeping and Engineering for room conditions.
• On-Site Execution & Supervision: manage registration and program flow.
• Team Leadership: brief setup crews and service staff.
• Problem Solving: troubleshoot issues during events.
