Job Title: Estimator
Location: Ortigas, Pasig, PH
Work Schedule: Monday to Friday, 6:00 AM – 3:00 PM (Hybrid | 3x Onsite, 2x WFH)

Job Detail:

We are seeking an Estimator to support development and construction projects by preparing accurate cost estimates, managing tender submissions, and building strong supplier relationships. This role ensures projects are commercially viable and delivered within budget through detailed cost planning, negotiation, and performance tracking.

Job Responsibilities:

Estimation & Cost Planning

• Create first principles by scope of works to understand and establish accurate project costs
• Develop Scope of Requirements (SOR) workbooks by activity for all development and construction tasks
• Prepare work to be estimated based on tender submission requirements
• Identify and cost labour, materials, and time requirements for tender submissions
• Prepare and submit detailed estimates for tender proposals

Supplier Management & Commercial Negotiation

• Negotiate with suppliers to achieve the best pricing aligned with budget targets
• Establish and negotiate commercial pricing agreements with key suppliers, including Master Service Agreements (MSAs)
• Build and maintain a reliable and competitive supply chain

Performance Tracking & Reporting

• Track and report estimation performance metrics, including win/loss ratios
• Prepare and submit regular monthly reports to the Project Management Team
• Provide reports to clients as required

Process Improvement

• Identify gaps and areas for improvement in estimation processes
• Support initiatives to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and consistency in cost estimation

Collaboration & Stakeholder Engagement

• Maintain a professional, collaborative, and constructive approach in all interactions
• Encourage participation and collaboration across teams and departments
• Actively participate in meetings and workshops
• Promote company mission and values in day-to-day activities

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Construction Management, Engineering, Accounting, or Quantity Surveying
• Proven administrative experience supporting large project teams within complex organizations
• Experience in construction, particularly within commercial and/or legal functions on major projects
• Ability to manage and forecast project financial costs to completion
• Strong negotiation and commercial acumen
• Well-developed organizational, written, and verbal communication skills
• Strong interpersonal skills for managing internal and external relationships
• Proficiency in spreadsheets, word processing, and relevant project or financial systems
• Understanding of financial and commercial requirements in construction project delivery
• Ability to work effectively under pressure
• Proactive mindset with a focus on continuous improvement
• Ability to challenge the status quo and introduce innovative approaches
• Strong team player with the ability to work independently
