Job summary

iSupport Worldwide is seeking an experienced Estimator to join our team in Manila. You will prepare estimates from concept to detailed levels, read and interpret construction plans, and support operations with scheduling and project documents.

The role requires strong communication, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple projects while mentoring teammates. Onsite work in Metro Manila with competitive benefits is provided.

Qualifications

• 3–5+ years in residential construction estimating.

Responsibilities

• Prepare estimates from conceptual to detailed stages.

Job description

We are seeking an experienced construction Estimator to join our team. Estimators prepare estimates ranging from conceptual to detailed estimation, attend pre-bid jobsite meetings, prepare preliminary construction schedules, RFIs, RFQs, and other project documents. They perform quantity take-off, develop estimates, provide project management support to the operations team, and attend trade shows and other sales events. They also take ownership of their projects, implement innovative ideas, and are accountable for themselves and their projects. They must demonstrate a mastery of construction knowledge and provide mentorship to those around them. An ideal candidate has aconstruction/engineering/waterproofing background, is agood verbal and written communicator, and hasattention to detail, good memory, and good prioritization and time management skills.

Requirements

Required Qualifications:

• 3 to 5+ years of residential construction (e.g., condominiums and apartment projects) and estimating experience
• Strong ability to read and interpret floor and construction plans for accurate estimating
• Strong background in construction, engineering, and waterproofing
• Broad experience in all trades
• Ability to learn quickly and adapt in a fast-paced environment

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, or a related technical discipline
• Experience in both subcontracted and self-performed construction work
• Experience with building envelope repair
• Experience in field construction
• Competent in reading, understanding, and interpreting construction drawings and specifications
• Advanced proficiency in estimating, scheduling, and desktop publishing software
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Self-directed with a high level of initiative and accountability
• Ability to work effectively within a team environment
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
