Job summary

Outsourcey is hiring a construction estimating professional in the Philippines to support early-stage cost estimates, budgets, and feasibility assessments. You will coordinate with internal teams and suppliers to gather pricing data and develop initial cost estimates.

The role requires expertise in drawings interpretation, data accuracy, and effective communication with stakeholders to drive successful project delivery.

Qualifications

• Min 2.5 years of estimating, construction, project coordination, or similar technical role.
• Strong understanding of construction processes, materials, and project documentation.
• Ability to interpret drawings, specifications, and scope requirements.
• Strong numerical skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
• Experience using estimating software, spreadsheets, and project management systems.
• Strong communication skills with suppliers, contractors, and internal stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Review incoming project information, drawings, specifications, and client requirements to support the initial estimating phase.
• Assess scope of works and identify key cost drivers, risks, exclusions, and potential challenges.
• Prepare preliminary quantity take-offs, measurements, and material assessments where required.
• Coordinate with internal teams, subcontractors, and suppliers to gather relevant pricing and project information.
• Assist in developing initial cost estimates, budgets, and feasibility assessments.
• Maintain accurate estimating records, documentation, and project information within relevant systems.
• Identify missing information, clarify requirements, and ensure estimating inputs are complete before progression.
• Support the handover of early-stage estimates into detailed estimating and project delivery processes.

Profile Requirements:

• Min 2.5 years of previous experience in estimating, construction, project coordination, or a similar technical role.
• Strong understanding of construction processes, materials, and project documentation.
• Software: Wunderbuild is preferred
• Ability to interpret drawings, specifications, and scope requirements.
• Strong numerical skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
• Experience using estimating software, spreadsheets, and project management systems.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to liaise with suppliers, contractors, and internal stakeholders.
• Ability to manage multiple projects, prioritise tasks, and meet deadlines.
• Proactive problem-solving mindset with a willingness to learn and improve estimating processes.
