Job summary

Outsourcey Philippines is seeking a senior construction estimator to join our growing team. You will review drawings, prepare detailed BOQs, and develop cost estimates for concrete and civil works.

You will use Bluebeam and other take-off software, ensuring accuracy and timely tender submissions. This role offers a competitive salary and strong career development within a rapidly scaling BPO environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years in construction estimating, ideally for concrete and civil works.
• Strong knowledge of construction methodologies for concrete and civil works and site operations.
• Experience preparing BOQs, quantity take-offs, cost estimates and tender pricing schedules.
• Proficiency with Bluebeam; experience with other estimating or take-off software is highly regarded.
• Strong ability to interpret drawings, plans, specifications and tender docs with high numerical accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Review architectural, structural and civil drawings to understand project requirements.
• Prepare detailed BOQs, quantity take-offs and pricing schedules for prospective projects.
• Perform accurate take-offs for concrete, civil, earthworks and related activities.
• Use Bluebeam and other estimating software to measure, quantify and document project needs.
• Develop detailed cost estimates including materials, labour, subcontractors and equipment.
• Assist with tender preparation, pricing submissions and estimating docs for not-yet-awarded projects.
• Review supplier/subcontractor pricing, identifying discrepancies, risks or opportunities within estimates.
• Maintain accurate estimating records, pricing databases and project documentation.
