Job summary

CATL is seeking a seasoned project manager to lead ESS project engagements with overseas customers, especially in Mexico. The role requires coordinating cross-functional teams, managing schedules, costs and risks, and delivering high-value opportunities with a clear customer focus.

Ideal candidates will have 8+ years in PM, 5+ years in team management, and strong English and Spanish communication. Preference for candidates with experience in ESS, Li-ion battery, or utility sectors and

Qualifications

• Minimum 8 years PM experience with 5+ years in team management.
• Familiar with ESS project business mode and development; power/utility/ESS/Li-ion exp favored.
• Strong communication, logical thinking, data analysis and reporting skills.

Responsibilities

• Connect with overseas energy storage customers and related companies in Mexico; build relationships and identify high-value opportunities.
• Assist account PM in coordinating meetings and addressing critical issues at the customer side.
• Coordinate multiple customer contact windows and strengthen face-to-face communication management.
• Coordinate internal resources with sales and development teams to qualify and engage customers.
• Lead onsite cross-department teams to ensure scheduling, quality, cost and risk management; establish and drive the program.
• Manage the onsite PM team and provide training to improve capability.

Key Responsibilities:

• Connect with overseas energy storage customers and related companies in Mexico, build good relationship and identify needs and explore high-value potential project opportunities
• Assist account PM for coordinating and preparing critical meetings, and coordinating the highlight issues at customer side
• Enhance the coordination and service for multiple contact windows of customers, and strengthen management of the face-to-face communication with customers
• Coordinate internal resource, sales team, development team, together with account PMs, to figure out the qualification and customer engagement；
• Coordinate onsite colleagues from other departments, like SC, AMD, to guarantee reasonable progress of commissioning and after-sales tasks of ESS projects, and resolve the problems across multiple departments. Establish program team, and initiate the program, lead the team to deliver, and be responsible for the program management of schedule, quality, cost, and risk；
• Manage the onsite PM team, with proper training to improve the capability of the team members.

Preferred Qualifications:

• 8 year above experience for PM, and 5 years above experience for team management.
• Be familiar with ESS project business mode and development, priority consideration will be given to 2 years above experience on electric power/utility, ESS, Li-ion battery;
• Good at communication, with good logic, capable on data analysis and report writing；
• Oversea working experience is prior consideration, long-term stay in Mexico is must.
• Proactive, pursue higher standard, and always keep the commitment.
