Job summary

Arqvanta Construction is seeking an experienced Equipment Head to lead the management, maintenance, deployment, and efficient utilization of our construction equipment and heavy machinery.

The role requires overseeing the fleet across projects, coordinating with project managers, and supervising technicians and operators while ensuring safety and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• Licensed Mechanical Engineer (PRC) preferred.
• 8–10 years of relevant experience in construction equipment or fleet management.
• Experience supervising mechanics, technicians, and equipment operators.
• Strong leadership and analytical skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel.

Responsibilities

• Oversee equipment fleet and deployment across projects.
• Plan and monitor preventive maintenance, repairs, and servicing.
• Monitor equipment condition, utilization, and maintenance costs.
• Coordinate equipment requirements with Project Managers and site teams.
• Supervise mechanics, technicians, operators, and other personnel.
• Coordinate with suppliers, service providers, and rental companies.
• Evaluate equipment condition and recommend repairs or acquisitions.
• Maintain equipment records and prepare status/cost reports.
• Ensure compliance with safety, maintenance, and regulatory requirements.

• Oversee the company's equipment fleet and deployment across projects


• Plan and monitor preventive maintenance, repairs, and servicing


• Monitor equipment condition, utilization, operating hours, and maintenance costs


• Coordinate equipment requirements with Project Managers and site teams


• Supervise mechanics, technicians, operators, and other assigned personnel


• Coordinate with equipment suppliers, service providers, and rental companies


• Evaluate equipment condition and recommend repair, replacement, or acquisition


• Maintain accurate equipment records and prepare equipment status and cost reports


• Ensure compliance with safety, maintenance, and regulatory requirements

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field


• Licensed Mechanical Engineer (PRC) preferred


• 8–10 years of relevant experience in construction equipment or fleet management


• Strong experience handling heavy construction equipment and machinery


• Knowledge of preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and equipment repair


• Experience supervising mechanics, technicians, and equipment operators


• Strong leadership, analytical, and problem-solving skills


• Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel


• Willing to travel to project sites as required


• Construction industry experience is highly preferred
