Job summary

STMicroelectronics is seeking a Senior Engineer - Assembly Process to drive key improvement programs, improve yield, and reduce customer complaints in a semiconductor assembly environment. The role requires leading process engineering teams, developing control plans, and implementing new process methods and materials in line with ST standards.

Ideal candidates have a bachelor’s degree in Electronics & Communications, Electrical, Mechanical or Industrial Engineering and at least seven years

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electronics & Communications, Electrical, Mechanical or Industrial Engineering.
• At least seven (7) years of technical and supervisory experience in Process Engineering.
• Experience in assembly/process improvement in a semiconductor environment.

Responsibilities

• Improve process and mechanical yield; monitor scrappage; define actions.
• Analyze customer complaints using 8D methodology; perform DOE and process simulations.
• Promote product quality documentation and define key process parameters and control plans.
• Develop and improve process methods and materials within ST standards.
• Support new product introduction and line stressing; participate in improvement teams.
• Lead day-to-day activities of the Process Engineering team; ensure timely performance reviews.
