Kruger M&E Industries Corp is seeking an EHS Officer/PCO to plan, implement, monitor, and continuously improve the company’s EHS programs in alignment with laws and standards. The role covers OSH, environmental management, first aid, and regulatory compliance while supporting the HR/Admin department.
The ideal candidate holds an accredited PCO, DOLE accreditation as Safety Officer, a Bachelor’s degree in a related field, and 3–5 years of relevant experience in a manufacturing setting.
The EHS Officer / Pollution Control Officer (PCO) is responsible for planning, implementing, monitoring, and continuously improving the company's Environment, Health, and Safety (EHS) programs to ensure compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and company standards. The position oversees Occupational Safety and Health (OSH) initiatives, environmental management programs, first aid and emergency response, government regulatory compliance, and employee safety awareness. The incumbent also provides administrative support to the HR/Admin Department and performs other duties as assigned by management.
Oversee the overall implementation and management of the Occupational Safety and Health (OSH) Program in coordination with the OSH Committee
Develop, implement, monitor, and promote workplace safety, health, and environmental programs
Conduct regular workplace inspections and safety audits to identify hazards and unsafe practices
Perform periodic risk assessments and recommend corrective and preventive actions
Monitor compliance with company safety rules and applicable government regulations
Investigate workplace accidents, incidents, near misses, and recommend preventive measures
Prepare and maintain safety reports, records, and documentation required by management and regulatory agencies
Conduct mandatory safety orientation and awareness programs for employees and contractors
Provide immediate first aid and lifesaving care to injured employees until professional medical assistance becomes available
Ensure compliance with environmental laws, permits, licenses, and regulatory requirements
Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Environmental Science, Occupational Safety and Health, Industrial Technology, Environmental Management, or any related field
Accredited Pollution Control Officer (PCO)
DOLE-accredited Safety Officer
Certified First Aider
Minimum of 3 to 5 years of relevant experience in Environment, Health, and Safety (EHS), Occupational Safety and Health (OSH), Environmental Compliance, or Pollution Control within a manufacturing environment
Strong knowledge of Philippine OSH Standards and environmental regulations
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
Strong report writing and documentation skills
Effective communication and presentation skills
Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
