Job summary

Verkada is seeking a Technical Support Engineer to join our on-site team in San Mateo, CA. You will troubleshoot complex network, hardware, and software issues across Verkada's cloud-managed building security products, delivering expert guidance to enterprise customers.

You'll collaborate with Engineering and Product teams, translate technical concepts into clear advice, and own issues end-to-end while contributing to knowledge base content and best-practice design recommendations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a related technical discipline.
• Coursework in computer networking, Linux, electronics, or systems; Python is a plus.
• Strong written and verbal communication; problem-solving and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Hands-on troubleshooting of network, hardware, and software issues on Verkada's platform.
• Become the go-to expert for smart system design and integration advice.
• Communicate complex technical concepts clearly via phone, chat, and email.
• Own customer issues end-to-end from problem to solution.
• Collaborate with Engineering and Product to test gear and identify bugs.
• Write Knowledge Base content to help thousands of users.
