Job summary

PlayTime Entertainment is seeking a backend developer to design, build, and maintain in-house enterprise systems including CMS, CRM, and finance platforms. You will work with Content, Sales, Operations, and Finance to translate business needs into robust technical solutions.

You will handle end-to-end development, develop APIs and services, ensure system security and scalability, investigate issues, and document architectures.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• At least 3 years of experience in enterprise application or back-end development.
• Proficient in Java, Python, or Go.
• Strong knowledge of web frameworks, REST APIs, and relational databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL).
• Familiarity with caching technologies and message queues.
• Experience with ERP, CRM, CMS, finance, or other enterprise system development/integration.
• Good understanding of system security, monitoring, backup, and production support.
• Strong requirements analysis, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication skills with cross-functional teams and business stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, maintain, and enhance in-house enterprise systems including CMS, CRM, operations and finance platforms, internal tools, and dashboards.
• Work with Content, Sales, Operations, Finance, and other teams to gather requirements and translate into technical solutions.
• Handle end-to-end development: system design, coding, testing, deployment, integration, and production support.
• Develop and maintain back-end services, APIs, databases, caching mechanisms, and system integrations.
• Ensure system stability, performance, scalability, and security through monitoring, logging, backup, recovery, and troubleshooting.
• Investigate system issues, perform root-cause analysis, and implement long-term improvements.
• Maintain technical documentation covering architecture, APIs, configurations, deployment, and troubleshooting.
• Collaborate with Shanghai R&D Team on localization, integration, deployment, and enhancement of centrally developed systems.
• Identify opportunities to automate processes and improve efficiency of enterprise systems.

• Strong knowledge of web frameworks, REST APIs, and relational databases, particularly MySQL or PostgreSQL.


• Familiarity with caching technologies and message queues.


• Experience with ERP, CRM, CMS, finance, or other enterprise system development/integration is an advantage.


• Good understanding of system security, monitoring, backup, and production support.


• Strong requirements analysis, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
