Job summary

Accenture Inc. in Manila is seeking a capable Full Stack Developer with 3–5 years of Java EE experience to join our delivery team. You will design, develop, test, and maintain web service applications, collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software.

You will mentor junior developers, write clean code, and ensure alignment with approved architectures and business needs. Strong communication with clients and stakeholders is essential for project updates and success.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or in progress in CS/IT or related field with fundamentals in programming and problem-solving.
• 3–5 years of Full Stack Developer experience using Java EE.
• Experience with frontend frameworks such as React.js, Angular, or Vue.js.
• Experience in Agile/Scrum environments.
• Experience designing, building, testing, and maintaining web services.
• Ability to read UML diagrams and apply design patterns.
• Experience with IDEs (Eclipse/IntelliJ) and unit testing (JUnit/Mockito).
• Experience working with JSON/YAML data and CI/CD pipelines.
• Familiarity with API tooling (Swagger) and message brokers (Kafka, RabbitMQ).
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/Google Cloud) is a plus.

A Day in the Life:

• Attend daily team meetings to review progress and discuss upcoming development tasks.




• Design, develop, configure, test, debug, deploy, document, and maintain web service applications.




• Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code following established coding standards.




• Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to improve code quality.

• Perform troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and implementation of software enhancements.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Mathematics, Information Systems, or a closely related technical field ((completed or currently in progress; undergraduates welcome), with foundational skills in programming, data analysis, systems analysis, or technical problem‑solving.




• 3 – 5 years of professional experience as a Full Stack Developer using any Java platforms (Java Enterprise Edition)




• Professional experience with at least one frontend framework such as React.js, Angular, Vue.js.




• Experience working in Agile/Scrum development environments.




• Experience designing, building, testing, and maintaining web service applications.




• Experience creating and interpretating UML diagrams: use case, activity, and sequence diagrams.




• Experience applying common software design patterns to solve development problems.




• Experience using IDEs such as Eclipse or IntelliJ




• Experience with version control systems and collaboration tools.




• Experience writing unit tests using Junit, Mockito, or PowerMock




• Experience working with structured data formats such as JSON and YAML.




• Experience building or working with CI/CD pipelines.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience mentoring junior developers or providing technical guidance.




• Experience using API documentation and measuring tools such as Swagger, Kafka, or RabbitMQ.




• Experience using code quality and security scanning tools such as SonarQube, Fortify, or WebInspect.




• Experience working with SOAP-based web services.




• Experience using Cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.




• Experience identifying and mitigating common web application security vulnerabilities.
