Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Minimum of 7 years of professional software development experience, including design, development, and delivery of enterprise-grade web applications.
• Strong full-stack development experience with modern front-end frameworks (Angular preferred, React/Next.js).
• Proficiency in back-end development using Java (Spring Boot) and/or C# .NET with scalable, secure applications.
• Hands-on experience with microservices and RESTful APIs (Spring Boot, ASP.NET Core or similar).
• Experience with CSS frameworks and component libraries (Tailwind, Bootstrap, Material UI, or Angular Material).
• Strong PostgreSQL experience and data modeling; familiarity with NoSQL databases (SQL Server, MongoDB) as well.
• API design, authentication/authorization, versioning, and testing with tools like Swagger/OpenAPI and Postman.
• Version control (Git) and modern DevOps practices (CI/CD) using Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, Jenkins.
• Cloud deployment experience (Microsoft Azure) and observability, monitoring, and security best practices (OWASP).
• Strong understanding of software architecture, SOLID, OOP, data structures, algorithms, and debugging.
• Experience mentoring junior engineers and contributing to architectural decisions.
• Agile Scrum experience with sprint planning, estimation, reviews, and retrospectives.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills; proven ability to balance business needs with engineering excellence.

You will provide technical leadership in architecture, development standards, code quality, security, and scalability. Working closely with product owners, architects, and cross-functional teams, you will lead the delivery of high-quality software solutions, mentor engineers, and contribute to the organization's long-term technology strategy. This role requires strong problem-solving skills, hands-on development expertise, and a passion for continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain software applications in accordance with established functional, technical, and quality standards.
• Lead the architecture and technical design of software solutions, ensuring scalability, performance, maintainability, and security.
• Collaborate with product managers, designers, business stakeholders, and engineering teams to translate requirements into effective technical solutions.
• Drive technical decision-making, balancing business objectives with engineering best practices and long-term sustainability.

• Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve complex technical issues, performance bottlenecks, and production incidents, including conducting root cause analysis and implementing preventive measures.
• Analyze and optimize application performance, reliability, scalability, and overall system health.
• Collaborate with DevOps teams to improve CI/CD pipelines, deployment processes, infrastructure automation, monitoring, and observability practices.
• Promote secure software development practices and ensure compliance with organizational and industry security standards, including OWASP recommendations.
• Mentor and guide junior engineers through technical leadership, knowledge sharing, code reviews, and professional development support.

• Experience using API development and testing tools such as Swagger/OpenAPI, Postman, and similar platforms.
• Experience working with source control systems and collaborative development workflows using Git.
• Experience with application lifecycle management, CI/CD pipelines, and DevOps practices using Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or similar platforms.
• Experience deploying, monitoring, and supporting applications in cloud environments, preferably Microsoft Azure.
• Strong understanding of software architecture, design patterns, SOLID principles, Object-Oriented Programming (OOP), data structures, and algorithms.
• Experience contributing to architecture decisions and designing scalable, high-performance, secure, and maintainable software solutions.
• Experience implementing automated testing strategies, including unit, integration, and end‑to‑end testing.
• Strong troubleshooting, debugging, and root cause analysis skills, with a proven ability to resolve complex production issues.
• Strong understanding of secure software development practices, including OWASP Top 10 vulnerabilities, Cross‑Site Scripting (XSS), authentication, authorization, and data protection best practices.
• Experience working within Agile Scrum teams and participating in sprint planning, estimation, backlog refinement, reviews, and retrospectives.
• Excellent analytical and problem‑solving skills with the ability to evaluate technical trade‑offs and make sound engineering decisions.
