Job summary

KMC Solutions in Manila is seeking an Engineering Technician to oversee the upkeep of facilities and support site operations. You will work with peers, contractors, and clients to keep spaces well-maintained and compliant with standards.

The role involves daily monitoring, basic repairs, and coordinating with vendors, with on-call availability for emergencies. Experience in facilities management is preferred.

Qualifications

• It will favor candidates with facilities management and building maintenance experience.
• Minimum two years of related work experience in facilities or building maintenance.
• Proficiency with MS Office and computer literacy is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Daily monitoring of sites, facilities, equipment and leased offices.
• Update all Monitoring Forms and ticketing records.
• Maintain basic facilities and office spaces to ensure show readiness.
• Ensure preventive maintenance for HVAC, fire safety, lighting, and exits as scheduled.
• Daily monitoring and closing of tickets filed via the facilities system.
• Perform basic on-site repairs in electrical, mechanical, plumbing, and civil works.
• Transport facilities assets/materials between sites as needed.
• Monitor and assist third-party vendors on their activities and projects.
• Be available to work holidays and on-call on weekends during emergencies.
• Travel to other office sites as required.
• Other tasks as assigned from time to time.

Job description

The ENGINEERING Technician task is to ensure the overall upkeep of the facility their handling is within company’s standard. Could easily adapt working with peers, contractors, and clients.

The main responsibilities of a ENGINEERING TECHNICIAN include:

• Daily monitoring of site/s facilities, equipment and leased office

• Update all Monitoring Form

• Maintains basic facilities and office space ensuring the show readiness of all areas

• Ensures that periodic preventive maintenance of equipment and facilities such as but not
  limited to air-conditioning system, fire extinguisher, emergency lights, emergency exit
  signages are properly implemented and followed as scheduled

• Daily monitoring/closing of tickets filed via facilities ticketing system

• Performs basic on-site repairs as needed for electrical, mechanical. Plumbing, and civil works

• Task in hauling facilities assets/materials from site to site

• Monitor and assist third party vendors on their activities and projects (if any)

• Can work holidays and on call on weekends during emergency situations

• Travel to other office sites

• Other tasks to be assigned from time to time

• Candidate must possess at least Vocational Diploma/Short Courses certificate
  Bachelor’s/College Degree

• At least two (2) years working experience related to Facilities management and/or building
  maintenance

• Can use MS office applications and is computer literate

It will also be favorable if you are knowledgeable in:

• Knowledgeable in electrical, mechanical, plumbing and civil works (two of any)

• Knowledgeable in refrigeration and air-conditioning, and fire protection

• Can work with minimum supervision and on fast phased environment
