Job summary

Colliers International Philippines, Inc invites applications for a Technical Assistant who will support day-to-day operation, maintenance, and reliability of building facilities across assigned sites. The role works with Technical Manager/Engineer to ensure systems operate safely and in compliance.

Key duties include responding to service requests, assisting in maintenance and inspections, preparing reports, and delivering professional tenant service.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
  • Basic knowledge in power systems, preventive maintenance, equipment troubleshooting, electrical safety, technical writing, planning & scheduling.
  • Ability to read and interpret plans/lay-outs, electrical diagrams; hands-on training in electrical controls (if any).
  • Conversant in report writing and assessment.
  • Knowledgeable in Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

  • Provide technical support for assigned sites and respond to service requests, technical concerns, and operational issues.
  • Assist in operation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and monitoring of building systems (mechanical, electrical, HVAC, fire protection).
  • Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance activities to ensure optimal facility performance.
  • Participate in technical audits and site assessments to identify maintenance requirements and improvements.
  • Respond to emergencies and assist in resolving building and equipment-related issues.
  • Prepare, consolidate, and maintain maintenance reports, operational logs, and troubleshooting records.
  • Assist in filing and maintaining ISO quality records and other compliance documents.
  • Deliver excellent customer service by addressing tenant and occupant concerns promptly and professionally.
  • Provide administrative and coordination support related to building operations and maintenance activities.
  • Serve as reliever for technical personnel when necessary.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Job description

The Technical Assistant supports the day-to-day operation, maintenance, and reliability of building facilities and equipment across assigned project sites. Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering; fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
  • Basic knowledge in power system, preventive maintenance, equipment troubleshooting or corrective maintenance, electrical safety, technical writing, planning & scheduling,
  • Ability to read and interpret plans/lay-outs, electrical diagrams, hands-on training in electrical controls (if any).
  • Conversant in report writing and assessment
  • Knowledgeable in Microsoft Office
  • Has supervisory skills & leadership training
