Job description

Supervision and Leadership

1. Manage and lead a team of technicians, operators, and junior engineers to ensure smooth operation of engineering systems, including refrigeration systems and MHE.

2. Assign tasks, monitor performance, and provide technical guidance to ensure timely completion of maintenance and repair activities.

3. Conduct regular team meetings to communicate goals, operational updates, and performance expectations.

B. Equipment Maintenance and Operations

1. Oversee the operation, inspection, and maintenance of all equipment, including refrigeration systems, utilities, facilities, and MHE.

2. Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs to minimize downtime and ensure equipment reliability.

3. Troubleshoot equipment and system failures, including refrigeration-related issues, and coordinate timely repairs, escalating concerns when necessary.

C. Project Management

1. Assist in planning and execution of engineering projects such as system upgrades, refrigeration improvements, MHE deployment, and facility expansions.

2. Coordinate with contractors and other departments to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.

3. Monitor project progress, resolve issues, and provide updates to the Engineering Manager.

D. Safety and Compliance

1. Ensure compliance with safety regulations, company policies, and operational standards, particularly in handling refrigeration systems and MHE.

2. Conduct regular safety inspections of equipment, facilities, and work areas to identify and mitigate risks.

3. Support implementation of safety programs, emergency response procedures, and training initiatives.

4. Participate in incident investigations and recommend corrective and preventive actions.

E. Performance Monitoring and Reporting

1. Monitor performance and efficiency of refrigeration systems, MHE, and other equipment through data analysis.

2. Prepare reports on maintenance activities, system performance, and equipment reliability.

3. Recommend improvements to optimize operations, reduce downtime, and control costs.
