Job summary

Fresh N'Famous Foods Inc. - Chowking is seeking an Engineering Supervisor for Refrigeration to ensure reliable operation, maintenance, and continuous improvement of refrigeration and utility systems in a food manufacturing setting.

You will lead maintenance programs, manage third-party providers, and support governance and safety audits. Based at our Sucat, Muntinlupa facility, the role requires a Bachelor's degree in Engineering with a PRC license, 3+ years in a food-manufacturing environment,

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering with a valid PRC license.
• Minimum of three (3) years of relevant experience in a Food Manufacturing environment.
• Hands-on experience in refrigeration system operation and maintenance.
• Strong knowledge of process equipment, ventilation, electrical, steam, compressed air, water, and rotating equipment maintenance.
• Experience in utilities management, preventive maintenance, and engineering project implementation.
• Background in sustainability and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Excellent leadership and stakeholder management abilities.
• Willingness to report onsite in Sucat, Muntinlupa.

Responsibilities

• Lead the operation, maintenance, and performance optimization of refrigeration, ventilation, and other utility systems.
• Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs, oversee CAPEX projects, and drive sustainability initiatives.
• Manage third-party service providers and ensure compliance with standards, safety, and quality systems.
• Support plant operations by serving as Officer of the Day when required, and participate in governance meetings.
• Collaborate with the Engineering Manager on reports and projects, lead corrective actions, and participate in QM, EOSH, and FSSC audits to ensure regulatory compliance.

TheEngineering Supervisor forRefrigerationwill play a key role in ensuring the reliable operation, maintenance, and continuous improvement of our refrigeration and utility systems. This position is ideal for an engineering professional with strong technical expertise in refrigeration systems and utility operations within a food manufacturing environment.

• Lead the operation, maintenance, and performance optimization of refrigeration, ventilation, and other utility systems, including electrical, boiler, wastewater, and air compressor facilities.
• Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs, oversee CAPEX projects, and drive sustainability initiatives focused on resource efficiency and cost reduction.
• Manage third-party service providers and ensure compliance with operational standards, safety requirements, and quality systems.
• Support plant operations by serving as Officer of the Day when required, participating in governance meetings, and monitoring utility performance through daily log sheet reviews.
• Collaborate with the Engineering Manager on reports and projects while leading corrective actions and participating in QM, EOSH, and FSSC audits to ensure regulatory and food safety compliance.

Job Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or any related Engineering discipline, with a valid PRC license.

Minimum of three(3) years of relevant experiencein aFood Manufacturingenvironment, preferably in a similar role.

Hands-on experience inrefrigeration system operation and maintenance.

Strong knowledge of process equipment, ventilation systems, electrical power systems, steam systems, compressed air systems, water systems, and rotating equipment maintenance.

Experience in utilities management, preventive maintenance, and engineering project implementation.
