Job summary

MANILA CATERING CORPORATION is seeking a Maintenance Engineering Supervisor to oversee day-to-day plant maintenance and lead engineering projects in a food manufacturing environment. You will manage preventive and corrective maintenance, supervise technicians, coordinate with suppliers, and ensure safety, 5S and compliance.

The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Engineering; PRC license preferred; 3–5 years of supervision experience in food

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Engineering.
• 3–5 years of plant maintenance or engineering supervision in food manufacturing.
• Strong knowledge of preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and project coordination.
• Familiarity with AutoCAD, Root Cause Analysis, refrigeration systems, wastewater treatment, and utility management.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Supervise day-to-day maintenance activities, ensuring proper monitoring and compliance with mechanical and electrical standards
• Implement preventive maintenance schedules and troubleshoot equipment issues to reduce breakdowns
• Plan and execute engineering projects, including line improvements, utility upgrades, and CAPEX initiatives
• Oversee plant utilities such as boilers, refrigeration, compressed air, wastewater treatment, and electrical systems
• Manage spare parts, consumables, and fuel inventory; coordinate with suppliers and contractors
• Ensure adherence to safety programs, 5S, and food safety standards
• Supervise technicians, schedule manpower, conduct coaching, and evaluate performance
