Job summary

Fresh N'Famous Foods Inc. - Chowking seeks an Engineering Supervisor (Refrigeration) to ensure reliable operation and continuous improvement of refrigeration and utility systems in a food manufacturing setting.

The role requires hands-on refrigeration expertise and strong leadership to drive preventive maintenance and cost efficiency. The incumbent will oversee operations in Sucat, Muntinlupa, collaborate with the Engineering Manager, and participate in audits (QM, EOSH, FSSC) to ensure safety

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering with valid PRC license.
• Minimum of three (3) years of relevant experience in a Food Manufacturing environment.
• Hands-on experience in refrigeration system operation and maintenance.
• Strong knowledge of process equipment, ventilation, electrical power, steam, and water systems.
• Experience in utilities management, preventive maintenance, and engineering project implementation.
• Background in sustainability and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Excellent leadership and stakeholder management abilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead the operation, maintenance, and optimization of refrigeration, ventilation and other utility systems (electrical, boiler, wastewater, air compressors).
• Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs, oversee CAPEX projects, and drive sustainability initiatives to reduce costs.
• Manage third-party service providers and ensure compliance with standards, safety and quality systems.
• Support plant operations as Officer of the Day when required; participate in governance meetings; monitor utility performance via daily logs.
• Collaborate with Engineering Manager on reports and projects; lead corrective actions; participate in QM, EOSH and FSSC audits.

Title: Engineering Supervisor (Refrigeration)

The Engineering Supervisor for Refrigeration will play a key role in ensuring the reliable operation, maintenance, and continuous improvement of our refrigeration and utility systems. This position is ideal for an engineering professional with strong technical expertise in refrigeration systems and utility operations within a food manufacturing environment.

• Lead the operation, maintenance, and performance optimization of refrigeration, ventilation, and other utility systems, including electrical, boiler, wastewater, and air compressor facilities.


• Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs, oversee CAPEX projects, and drive sustainability initiatives focused on resource efficiency and cost reduction.


• Manage third-party service providers and ensure compliance with operational standards, safety requirements, and quality systems.


• Support plant operations by serving as Officer of the Day when required, participating in governance meetings, and monitoring utility performance through daily log sheet reviews.


• Collaborate with the Engineering Manager on reports and projects while leading corrective actions and participating in QM, EOSH, and FSSC audits to ensure regulatory and food safety compliance.

Job Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or any related Engineering discipline, with a valid PRC license.


• Minimum of three (3) years of relevant experience in a Food Manufacturing environment, preferably in a similar role.


• Hands-on experience in refrigeration system operation and maintenance.


• Strong knowledge of process equipment, ventilation systems, electrical power systems, steam systems, compressed air systems, water systems, and rotating equipment maintenance.


• Experience in utilities management, preventive maintenance, and engineering project implementation.


• Background in sustainability and continuous improvement initiatives.


• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.


• Excellent leadership and stakeholder management abilities.


• Must be willing to report onsite in Sucat, Muntinlupa.
