Job summary

Ivoclar Vivadent, Inc. in the Philippines seeks an experienced Engineering Leader to drive technical staff across production engineering, projects, and facilities. You will uphold regulatory compliance and steer budget and resource planning to meet company OKRs.

The role requires a strong track record in leadership, project management, and cross-functional collaboration, with a focus on safety, efficiency, and continuous improvement in a manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• BS Engineering degree or Masters education and/or Engineering PRC License is an advantage.
• Technical leadership for more than ten years.
• Leadership and Project management skills; Project Management Certification is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Leads teams of technical staff in Production Engineering, projects, and facilities equipment.
• Develop and identify training needs to build a skilled department.
• Clearly communicates company directives to team members.
• Manage all regulatory compliance requirements (local, national, ISO standards, HQ).
• Provide technical input and support for projects and Facility Management to meet OKRs.
• Ensure plant equipment complies with local regulatory requirements and internal standards; act when needed.
• Review activities and negotiate with contractors and external partners.
• Analyze and coordinate financial data affecting OPEX/CAPEX of the department.
• Maintain a harmonious, productive environment while implementing necessary changes.
• Conduct due diligence to plan projects effectively; assess resources and customer demands.
• Manage installation, testing, operation, maintenance, and repair of facilities and equipment.
• Supervise development and maintenance of staff abilities within the organization.
• Recruit, assign, direct, and evaluate employees by function.
• Set scientific and technical goals in collaboration with management.
• Consult with internal/external links to arrange resources for projects.
• Develop and implement policies, standards, and procedures for engineering work.

Job Responsibilities

• Leads teams of technical staff assigned in various Engineering activities such asProduction Engineering, technical projects, facilities equipment etc.

• Continuously develop and identify training needs and opportunities to develop yourteam to become a highly skilled functional department. (Professional and Personalupliftment).

• Clearly communicates company directives to his/her team members.

• Manage all regulatory compliance requirements (local, national, ISO standards,Headquarters, etc.)

• Provide technical input, support or expertise in various area such as projects andFacility Management, towards the fulfillment of the company's Objectives and KeyResults (OKR)

• Ensure that the condition of the plant equipment (Production and Facility) are accordingto applicable local statutory / regulatory requirements, guidelines, policies, and thestandards of IVI, and take immediate actions when needed.

• Review technical activities and professional negotiations with contractors and externalpartners

• Analyze and coordinate financial/ accounting data that has significant effect to efficientOPEX and CAPEX, of the department and other members of management.

• Maintains a harmonious and productive environment while driving through necessarychanges.

• Conduct due diligence, study, and examine technology, organizational resources andthe demands of internal and external customer in order to plan projects effectively.

• Manage the installation, testing, operation, maintenance, and repair of facilities andequipment, making sure they are executed by the personnel responsible.

• Supervise the development and maintenance of staff abilities and suitability in theorganization.

• Recruit, assign, direct, and evaluate employees based on their functions andassignment.

• Set scientific and technical goals in the confines of the organization in closecollaboration with other members of management.

• Consult or negotiate with internal or external links and partners to make arrangements of resources required for a project.

• Develop and implement policies, standards, and procedures for the engineering and technical work performed in the organization.

• Performs miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned

• Prepares and provides technical specifications and requirements for the proper and correct procurement of all Engineering-related equipment and materials needed for operations.
  

Qualifications
