Job summary

SMC Repairs & Maintenance seeks a Registered Professional Mechanical or Electrical Engineer with at least five years of experience in equipment maintenance in food processing plants, utilities, and plant systems.

The candidate should have hands-on knowledge in operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of utilities and plant systems, with a background in mechanical or electromechanical service industries in feed milling or food processing equipment and equipment repair.

Qualifications

• Registered Professional Mechanical or Electrical Engineer with at least five (5) years of experience in equipment maintenance in food processing plant, utilities, and plant systems.
• Strong knowledge in operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of Utilities and Plant Systems.
• Background in mechanical or electromechanical service industries in feed milling or food processing equipment, equipment repair, plant maintenance services.
• Experience with RCA, FMEA, and Equipment Reliability Improvement; familiarity with GMP and OSHS.

• Background in Root Cause Analysis (RCA), Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (FMEA), and Equipment Reliability Improvement
• Familiarity with Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP), Occupational Safety and Health Standards (OSHS), and environmental regulations.
• Strong analytical, leadership, communication, and decision‑making skills.
• Good oral and written communication skills.
