Job summary

ZAMA Precision Industry Manufacturing Philippines, Inc. is seeking a hands-on Equipment Maintenance Supervisor to oversee planned maintenance, lead technicians, and align activities with production schedules.

The role requires ensuring safety standards, proper task allocation, and accurate cost tracking. The ideal candidate has 5+ years in industrial maintenance within manufacturing, with strong problem-solving skills and experience with OEE metrics and continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical or electrical engineering or related field.
• 5+ years’ experience in equipment maintenance in manufacturing.
• 2–5 years in industrial maintenance or plant engineering.
• Experience troubleshooting mechanical and electrical equipment.
• Experience with preventive and corrective maintenance and changeovers.
• Experience in automotive, machinery, or production environments preferred.

Responsibilities

• Ensure timely execution of planned maintenance activities.
• Oversee maintenance technicians and allocate tasks.
• Maintain records of maintenance activities, downtime, and costs; support root cause analysis.
• Provide training and guidance to maintenance staff; monitor performance and address skill gaps.
• Report Equipment Performance Metrics (OEE and Downtime) and drive corrective actions.
• Implement continuous improvement to enhance equipment reliability.
• Participate in cost reduction activities like CRP and Idea+.
• Assist in installation, testing, and buy-off of new equipment.

Main aim of the job

• Supports the coordinating, and supervising maintenance activities.


• Ensures compliance with safety standards, equipment high performance and cost-effective maintenance strategies


• Ensure maintenance Plans aligns with Production schedules to Minimize disruption and downtimes

Specific duties and responsibilities

• Ensure timely execution of planned maintenance activities.


• Oversee maintenance technicians and ensure proper task allocation.


• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, downtime, and costs. And Support root cause analysis for major breakdowns.


• Provide training and guidance to maintenance staff on best practices. Monitor team performance and address skill gaps.


• Report Equipment Performance Metrics (OEE and Downtime) and identify recurring issues and implement corrective actions.


• Implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance equipment reliability.


• Participate in Cost Reduction Activities like CRP and Idea +


• Always Ensure Compliance & Safety


• Assist in installation and testing and Buy Off of new equipment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering / electrical engineering / Mechatronics / Industrial Engineering or related field.


• Minimum 5 years working/training experience as Equipment Maintenance in Manufacturing Environment.


• 2-5 years' experience in industrial maintenance, manufacturing, or plant engineering.


• Experience in troubleshooting mechanical and electrical equipment.


• Experience working with preventive, corrective maintenance programs and changeovers.


• Experience in manufacturing environments such as automotive, machinery, or production lines preferred.


• Equipment Maintenance, Trouble shooting, setup, Changeover


• Equipment KPI Monitoring and Problem-Solving Techniques (OEE, 8D, etc.)


• General knowledge of industrial equipment maintenance and troubleshooting (Diecast, Lathe, Auto/Semi-Auto Machines, Machining, Etc.)


• Proficient in using Microsoft Office and MS Apps.
