Job summary

Subic Bay Metropolitan Authority’s Engineering Department seeks candidates with a Bachelor’s degree in Geodetic Engineering and hands-on experience in surveying and geospatial tasks. Applicants should have minimum years of relevant work and training, with familiarity in RTK, Total Station, Theodolite, and Auto Level techniques.

Proficiency in AutoCAD and related engineering software is preferred, along with valid civil service eligibility.

Minimum requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Geodetic Engineering;
• 1 year of relevant experience;
• 4 hours of relevant training; and
• RA 1080

Additional qualification requirements

• 2 years relevant experience;
• 8 hours relevant training;
• Well versed in operation of RTK equipment, Total Station, Theodolite and Auto Level;
• Experience in performing surveying works such as establishment of horizontal and vertical control for the construction of roads, buildings and other structures, as-staked and as-built surveys and survey data computation;
• Computer literate; knowledge in AutoCAD, Computer-Aided Cost Estimating, and other Engineering Softwares; and
• Preferably able to drive.

Documentary requirements

1. Application Letter addressed to Mr. Vicente A. Evidente, Jr., Chairperson, SBMA Human Resource Merit and Promotion and Selection Board;
2. Fully accomplished Personal Data Sheet (CS Form No. 212, Revised 2017) with recent passport-sized picture, thumbmark and signature, and Work Experience Sheet (Attachment of CS Form No. 212) which both can be downloaded at www.csc.gov.ph using MS Word and affix signature (to be converted to PDF file format);
3. School Transcript of Records and Diploma of the highest educational attainment;
4. Certificate of Employment attesting the relevant experience held from authorized official/s (current, previous employment or jobs including volunteer work on a full time basis)
5. Relevant Training Certificates; and
6. Certificate of Civil Service eligibility and/or valid applicable License, if any.
