Responsibilities

• Support onboarding processes with the Recruitment team and ensure completion of employment documentation.
• Serve as primary contact for employee relations and investigate concerns promptly and objectively.
• Advise managers on performance management, disciplinary actions, and corrective action plans; monitor PIPs.
• Assist in policy updates, training on workplace conduct, and compliance with labor laws.
• Advise on termination procedures, complete separation documentation, and coordinate final pay with payroll.

Onboarding

• Partner with Recruitment team to support new hire onboarding processes
• Conduct or support new employee orientation sessions
• Ensure completion of required employment documentation and policy acknowledgments
• Educate new hires on company policies, workplace conduct expectations, and reporting procedures
• Address early-stage employee concerns to support retention

Employee Experience & Relations

• Serve as primary point of contact for employee relations concerns
• Investigate complaints, grievances, and workplace conflicts in a timely, objective manner
• Conduct interviews and document findings in compliance with company standards
• Advise managers on performance management, disciplinary actions, and corrective action plans
• Support and monitor performance improvement plans (PIPs)
• Facilitate mediation and conflict resolution discussions
• Analyze employee relations trends and recommend proactive strategies
• Assist in policy development, updates, and communication
• Deliver training on workplace conduct, harassment prevention, and company policies
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local labor laws

Offboarding

• Advise managers on termination procedures and risk mitigation
• Review and prepare separation documentation
• Conduct exit interviews and analyze feedback for trends
• Partner with payroll to ensure proper final pay and benefits processing
• Support reductions in force and restructuring efforts as needed
• Ensure compliance with legal requirements during separations
