The Employee and Labor Relations Associate is responsible for administering the company’s employee engagement, internal communications, and labor relations programs while ensuring compliance with applicable labor laws, government regulations, and company policies. The role promotes a positive, inclusive, and compliant workplace by managing employee engagement initiatives, internal communications, disciplinary processes, grievance handling, labor-management relations, and statutory compliance. The position also develops communication materials, coordinates employee programs and events, maintains employee and labor relations records, prepares reports and documentation, participates in process improvements and system enhancements, and serves as a key partner to employees, department heads, and other stakeholders in fostering a positive employee experience and harmonious employer-employee relations.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Administer employee engagement programs and initiatives that promote employee well-being, recognition, development, and a positive workplace culture.
- Develop engagement program concepts, objectives, timelines, communication plans, and event flow.
- Coordinate with internal stakeholders, vendors, suppliers, consultants, committees, and technical support teams to implement employee engagement activities.
- Manage event logistics, including venue reservations, procurement, technical requirements, registration, and operational arrangements.
- Prepare and monitor program budgets, purchase requests, reimbursements, billings, and payment processing.
- Conduct post-event evaluations and prepare recommendations for continuous improvement.
- Manage the Company's email blast account and other communication platforms.
- Prepare and disseminate announcements, newsletters, HR advisories, event invitations, presentations, dashboards, and employee communications.
- Administer labor relations processes in compliance with the Philippine Labor Code, DOLE regulations, company policies, and due process requirements.
- Monitor disciplinary cases, maintain case records, track case status, and prepare reports.
- Organize investigation committees and facilitate administrative hearings, investigations, grievance handling, and disciplinary discussions.
- Prepare NTEs, NODs, notices of hearing, memoranda, investigation reports, and other labor relations documents.
- Coordinate with department heads, employees, legal counsel, and stakeholders regarding labor relations matters.
- Maintain confidential employee relations and disciplinary records.
- Monitor compliance with labor laws, government regulations, and company policies and recommend corrective actions.
- Respond to employee inquiries and concerns related to engagement, communications, employee relations, and labor relations.
- Prepare management reports, case analyses, statutory reports, presentations, dashboards, and documentation.
- Participate in HR process improvements, policy enhancements, and system developments.
- Other tasks that may be assigned from time to time by his/her immediate superior and the Management, in general, which are necessary for the accomplishment of his/her core work and other project deliverables.
