East West Banking Corporation in Taguig City is seeking an Elite Usage Officer for our Consumer Lending team. This onsite role focuses on building and managing merchant partnerships to drive credit card usage through exclusive discounts and perks.

You will develop merchant programs, analyze spending patterns, and coordinate multi-channel campaigns to engage customers and grow retail billings while strengthening the EastWest Credit Cards brand.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, Economics, or related field.
• Experience in account management, partnership development, sales, marketing, or promotions management is advantageous.
• Strong negotiation, relationship-building, and stakeholder management skills with the ability to engage external partners.

Responsabilités

• Identify, develop, and manage merchant partnerships that provide exclusive discounts, perks, and spending privileges for EastWest credit cardholders.
• Conduct market research, competitor analysis, and customer spending pattern reviews to uncover partnership opportunities and support business growth.
• Conceptualize, negotiate, and execute merchant promotional programs with attractive offers while optimizing business value.
• Coordinate end-to-end implementation of marketing campaigns, including legal approvals, regulatory requirements, customer communications, and merchant onboarding.
• Monitor program performance, prepare post-campaign evaluations, and recommend improvements to maximize customer engagement and profitability.
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to address customer concerns, manage merchant relationships, ensure compliance, and deliver a seamless customer experience.

In this role, you will establish and strengthen merchant partnerships that drive credit card usage through exclusive discounts, perks, and spending privileges.

What we're looking for

• Graduate of any four-year course, preferably in Marketing, Business Management, Communications, Economics, or related disciplines.
• Experience in account management, partnership development, sales, marketing, business development, merchant acquisition, or promotions management is an advantage.
• Strong negotiation, relationship-building, and stakeholder management skills with the ability to engage and influence external partners.
• Experience in project management, campaign execution, and coordination with cross-functional teams to deliver business initiatives.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret sales, spending, and campaign performance data and translate insights into actionable recommendations.
• Excellent communication, presentation, problem-solving, customer service orientation, attention to detail, and ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
