Job summary

Confidential in Makati City seeks an experienced Accounting Manager to oversee the financial operations of an exclusive HOA in a gated community. You will manage financial planning, reporting, budgeting, and accounting processes, serving as a trusted advisor to the Board.

You will ensure compliance with Philippine regulations, handle audits, dues collections, and internal controls, delivering clear financial insights to residents and stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy; CPA license preferred.
• 5+ years of progressive accounting experience, with at least 2 years in a managerial role.
• Direct HOA accounting, property management, real estate, or luxury hospitality experience preferred.
• Proficient in accounting software (QuickBooks, SAP, Xero) and advanced MS Excel.
• Strong knowledge of Philippine tax laws (BIR compliance) and HOA regulations.

Responsibilities

• Oversee full-cycle accounting, including general ledger, AP/AR, payroll, and financial statements.
• Lead budgeting, variance analysis, and long-term reserve planning for village infrastructure and amenities.
• Manage HOA dues, special assessments, and collection processes.
• Ensure compliance with BIR, SEC, DHSUD, and local regulations; coordinate audits and tax filings.
• Present high-level financial reports and insights to the Board of Directors.
• Audit vendor contracts and strengthen internal controls to safeguard association funds.
