Job summary

VTSA International Inc. is seeking a Project Engineer - Mechanical (Elevator Industry) to lead mechanical aspects of elevator/escalator installation projects from planning to turnover.

Responsibilities include supervising installation, coordinating with clients and contractors, and ensuring compliance with drawings, specs, and safety standards. Strong technical aptitude and travel willingness are required for field-based work.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• Licensed Mechanical Engineer preferred.
• 2–3 years of experience in mechanical engineering, construction, elevator, escalator, MEP, or related projects.
• Fresh graduates with strong academic performance may be considered.
• Knowledge of elevator/escalator systems is advantageous.
• Proficient in AutoCAD, MS Office, and project documentation.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
• Willing to travel to project sites and work in the field.

Responsibilities

• Plan, organize, and coordinate elevator/escalator projects from mobilization to completion.
• Develop implementation schedules and track progress against timelines.
• Coordinate requirements with clients, consultants, contractors, suppliers, and internal teams.
• Review drawings, specs, and contract requirements before implementation.
• Attend coordination meetings and provide engineering recommendations.
• Supervise installation of mechanical components (guide rails, machines, traction systems, etc.).
• Ensure work complies with drawings, specs, and quality standards.
• Monitor progress, resolve site issues, and ensure readiness for testing.
