Job summary

GAMA Foods Corporation in Iloilo is seeking an Electrician to maintain, troubleshoot, and repair electrical systems in the dressing plant. The role ensures safe and reliable operation while complying with safety, sanitation, and biosecurity standards.

Qualified graduates with NC II or higher in electrical fields and experience in poultry processing or food manufacturing preferred. Strong problem-solving and technical skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Graduate in Electrical Technology or related field or NC II is advantageous.
• Experience in electrical maintenance in industrial settings preferred.
• Knowledge of motors, wiring, control panels and basic troubleshooting.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive and corrective electrical maintenance in the dressing plant.
• Troubleshoot and repair motors, wiring, control panels and lighting.
• Inspect electrical systems regularly to prevent equipment breakdowns.
• Ensure compliance with safety, sanitation, and biosecurity standards.
• Coordinate with Production and Maintenance teams to minimize downtime.

Job Summary

The Electrician is responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing electrical systems and equipment within the dressing plant. The role ensures the safe and reliable operation of electrical systems supporting poultry processing activities, while maintaining compliance with company safety, sanitation, and operational standards.

Qualifications

• Graduate of Electrical Technology, Electrical Engineering Technology, Industrial Technology, or any related course
• NC II in Electrical Installation and Maintenance or equivalent certification is an advantage
• Experience in electrical maintenance, preferably in a poultry processing plant, food manufacturing facility, or similar environment
• Knowledgeable in electrical systems, wiring, motors, control panels, and troubleshooting
• Strong attention to safety, problem-solving, and technical skills

Key Responsibilities

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance of electrical systems, machinery, and equipment in the dressing plant
• Troubleshoot and repair electrical issues involving motors, control panels, wiring, lighting, and other plant equipment
• Conduct regular inspection of electrical systems to identify potential faults and prevent equipment breakdowns
• Ensure all electrical maintenance activities comply with safety, food processing, sanitation, and biosecurity standards
• Coordinate with Production, Maintenance, and other departments to address equipment concerns and support uninterrupted plant operations
