Job summary

GAMA Foods Corporation in the Philippines is seeking a Plant Mechanic to maintain, troubleshoot, and repair mechanical equipment in the Dressing Plant, ensuring safe, efficient operation and minimal downtime to support continuous plant production.

The ideal candidate has hands-on technical skill, attention to detail, and strong teamwork and communication abilities; a technical course in electro-mechanical technology and experience in plant maintenance are preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduate of Electro Mechanical Technology or related technical course.
• Experience in mechanical repair or machine maintenance is advantageous.
• Knowledge of mechanical systems, motors, and conveyors.
• Willing to work in cold section operations.

• Maintain, troubleshoot, and repair mechanical equipment in the Dressing Plant.

Job Summary

The Plant Mechanic is responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing mechanical equipment in the Dressing Plant. This role ensures that all machines operate safely, efficiently, and with minimal downtime to support continuous plant operations. The position requires hands on technical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to respond quickly to mechanical concerns.

Requirements

• Graduate of Electro Mechanical Technology, Mechanical Technology, Industrial Technology, or any related technical course
• Experience in mechanical repair, plant maintenance, or equipment troubleshooting is an advantage
• Knowledge in mechanical systems, motors, conveyors, and industrial machinery
• Skilled in preventive maintenance and basic mechanical diagnostics
• Willing to work in cold section operations
• Good communication and teamwork skills
