Job summary

GAMA Foods Corporation in Iloilo is seeking a Plant Mechanic to maintain, troubleshoot, and repair mechanical equipment in the dressing plant. The role ensures production equipment stays safe, reliable, and operational to support continuous poultry processing.

Qualifications include technical diplomas, experience in maintenance, knowledge of pumps, conveyors, and motors, plus a readiness to work in a shifting schedule.

Qualifications

• Graduate of Mechanical Technology, Industrial Technology, Electro-Mechanical Technology, Mechanical Engineering Technology, or related course.
• Experience in mechanical maintenance; poultry processing or food manufacturing facility is an advantage.
• Knowledge of mechanical systems, machinery, pumps, conveyors, motors, and basic fabrication.
• Ability to inspect, troubleshoot, repair, and preventive maintenance.
• Strong technical, problem-solving, and safety awareness skills; willingness to work in a shifting schedule.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance of mechanical equipment and machinery used in the dressing plant.
• Inspect production equipment, identify mechanical issues, and perform repairs to minimize downtime.
• Troubleshoot and maintain conveyors, pumps, motors, processing equipment, and other plant machinery.
• Conduct routine equipment checks, lubrication, adjustments, and replacement of worn or damaged parts.
• Coordinate with Production, Electrical, and other Maintenance personnel to ensure safe and continuous plant operations.
