Job summary

Pacific Synergy Food and Beverage Corporation is seeking an Equipment Operator to manage packaging lines and support maintenance tasks in a fast-paced manufacturing setting. You will monitor machine performance, record downtime, and assist in achieving production targets while upholding HACCP and GMP standards.

Fresh graduates with vocational training are welcome to apply. Read basic diagrams, work with minimal supervision, and participate in 5S housekeeping and safety practices.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a two-year technical-vocational course in mechanical/electrical/industrial tech.
• Able to read basic mechanical/electrical diagrams.
• Fresh graduates welcome; at least 1 year experience preferred.
• Knowledge of HACCP, GMP, and food safety is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Operate packaging and production equipment per SOPs.
• Monitor machine performance and parameters.
• Record downtime, stoppages, and corrective actions.
• Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance.
• Troubleshoot issues and coordinate with supervisor.
• Track material usage and ensure availability.

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITY

Equipment Operation and Monitoring

• Operate packaging and production equipment in accordance with established operating procedures.
• Monitor machine performance and operating parameters to ensure efficient production.
• Record machine downtime, intermittent stops, abnormalities, and corrective actions taken.

Equipment Maintenance

• Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance activities.
• Conduct machine troubleshooting and corrective actions
• Coordinate major equipment issues with the supervisor.

Production Support

• Monitor and record raw material and packaging material consumption during the shift.
• Ensure the availability of required materials to avoid production interruptions.
• Assist in achieving production targets while maintaining product quality standards.

Food Safety and Quality Compliance

• Ensure compliance with HACCP, GMP, Food Safety Management Systems, and company quality standards.
• Report any food safety, quality, or process deviations immediately to the supervisor.
• Follow established procedures to prevent product contamination.

Documentation and Reporting

• Prepare accurate, complete, and timely reports on machine performance, production output, downtime, and material usage.
• Maintain production and equipment records as required by company procedures.

Housekeeping and Workplace Safety

• Cleanliness and good housekeeping of machines, equipment, and work areas in accordance with 5S standards.
• Follow all company policies related to safety, security, environmental protection, energy conservation, and material utilization.
• Use required personal protective equipment (PPE) and comply with all safety regulations.

Other Duties

• Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned to support departmental and organizational objectives

QUALIFICATION

Educational Background

• Graduate of a two-year Technical-Vocational course, preferably in Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial Technology, or related fields.
• Additional technical training related to manufacturing operations and equipment maintenance.
• Fresh graduates are welcome to apply.
• At least one (1) year of experience in a manufacturing, production, or maintenance environment.

KNOWLEDGE

• Ability to read and interpret basic mechanical and electrical diagrams.
• Knowledge of machine operation and preventive maintenance principles.
• Understanding of HACCP, GMP, and food safety requirements.
• Familiarity with company policies, procedures, and regulations.
• Knowledge of 5S workplace organization practices.

SKILLS

• Oral and written communication skills in Filipino and/or English.
• Ability to operate manufacturing and packaging equipment.
• Basic troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to maintain accurate records and reports.
